Day 43: Making Valentines
 |
| Hayden spent the last 4 days working on Valentines for his preschool class. Cutting out 25 hearts and writing your name on them sure is difficult work for a 4 year old. We had planned to paint them with some watercolors as well, but completely ran out of time. We finished them off by punching holes in them and attaching a sucker. I hope when he sees all fun store-bought valentines he won't be sad he didn't get those. We're just really trying to save money right now, so we decided this way was cheapest! |

| Notice anything wrong with this picture? Hayden has been writing his name sideways lately. He seems to do it without any trouble. On occasion he'd turn the heart the correct way, but mostly he'd write his name like this. Funny kid. |

Those are so cute! I admire people who make their own. I always love the homemade one's the best... I just don't have the creativity and patience to make them. :) And It's pretty funny how kids write their names. Lacey is still learning to write her name. She frequently spells it Lacy or Laey (she can't seem to get both the "C" and "E" in the same spelling. OH- and her L is upside down so it looks like a backwards 7...) Love those cute kids of ours!
