I tried and I tried to NOT pick the roses from my yard, but I just couldn't contain myself any longer. I know they'll live longer out on the rose bush, but they just look so pretty by my kitchen window. I have about 15 rose bushes in our yard, and none of them were anywhere close to blooming when we moved in. They were sad and pathetic looking. I bought some rose feed and within a week they were growing and blooming like crazy! Love them!
