Hitting the Ball

Hayden and Dirk braved the wind so Hayden could practice hitting the "baseball". I was pretty surprised with how well he did, considering it was so winding and his ball was actually a lightweight foam Nerf type ball. He was doing really great at hitting and wanted me to get some pictures, so they threw the ball at my window until they got my attention. It's my turn to be sick (the kids were last week), and I didn't want to go outside, so I grabbed my telephoto lens and climbed up on the counter to take some shots out the window! Hayden is getting really good at sports! He definitely has some talent there. It makes me happy he is interested in so many things between sports, music, art, and reading!
